Hello and welcome to the home of Franklin Mustang Football, we hope you will enjoy this web site and we also hope it will benefit our Mustang supporters and our Mustang families. The Franklin Mustangs evolved in 1980 from the Sedley Mustangs. When I became Head Coach in 1980 our first team had maybe 20 players, today we carry close to 80 boys. We try to instill in these youngsters the basic fundamentals of the great game of football. We teach good sportsmanship, respect for the coaches, respect for team-mates and  opponents. We expect our football players and cheerleaders to be role models in school and to succeed in the classroom. The Mustang organization is built on three words that we believe in:  PRIDE, TRADITION and FUN.  If you take PRIDE in your team and yourself, if the teams TRADITION is held to a high esteem and you have FUN at what you are doing, you will be successful in life, as well as on the playing field.  Again we hope that you enjoy our new web site.  If you are not a member of our family, or a Mustang supporter we would love to have you on our team.
